What is a Sustainable Community?
"Sustainability": make everyday count
A dream of communities in which people thrive and grow in
all dimensions; in which nature is treasured and revitalized,
in which business is vibrant and inspiring,
and where new ideas and simple wisdom for a better tomorrow
are nurtured and shared.
To fulfill this dream we will network and collaborate
with people and organizations around the world.
It is our hope that this new community
will serve as model of inspiration for individuals
in search of a sustainable future and for communities
in Japan and beyond looking for new values and new ways of life.
The Kobunaki Ecovillage is where G-PROJECT takes its first
steps
toward realizing a grand dream.
Innovative challenges in the world;
The first ecovillages in the world were formed in the 1960's.
Now the word "ecovillage" includes a broad range of communities. These include: communities developed by developers, local governments, religious groups as well as communities generated spontaneously.
